Hampi or Hampe, known as the Group of Monuments at Hampi, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Hampi town, Vijayanagara district .

Hampi was the capital of the Vijayanagara Empire in the 14th century. It was a fortified city. Chronicles left by Persian and European travellers, particularly the Portuguese, say that Hampi was a prosperous, wealthy and grand city near the Tungabhadra River, with numerous temples, farms and trading markets. By 1500 CE, Hampi-Vijayanagara was the world’s second-largest medieval-era city after Beijing, and probably India’s richest at that time, attracting traders from Persia and Portugal.The Vijayanagara Empire was defeated by a coalition of Muslim sultanates; its capital was conquered, pillaged and destroyed by sultanate armies in 1565, after which Hampi remained in ruins

After breakfast , this day  you are going to cover most beautiful places of Badami like Rock-cut cave Temple The caves are important examples of Indian rock-cut architecture, especially Badami Chalukya architecture, and the earliest date from the 6th century ,which is very famous .

Later visit Jain Rock Cut Temple, North Fort, the Mallikarjuna Temple Mallikarjuna Group of Temples is popular for its magnificent architecture and design, and the Banashankari Temple.

On arrival , cover some charming local sightseeing of Hubli like Siddharoodha Math, that holds a unique significance in Modern Hinduism. This famous tourist spot is a renowned Hindu holy center. It was built in the year 1929 where Sri Siddharoodha took Samadhi, to honor him.

 Glass House, Unkal lake, and Bhavanishankar temple is dedicated to God Shiva. It is a very old temple and has a great architecture. It is very beautiful.
